Ancient Pre Columbian Small Double Handled Olla Ceremonial Bowl w/Reddish Finish

This is a fantastic example of a small ceremonial bowl from the Greater Chiriqui region of Panama / Costa Rica. It is a small ceremonial olla pot with a tapered base and a reddish finish. The bowl itself has a wide opening. It is circa 800-1200 AD. It has staining to the surface and wear consistent with age & use.It measures about 3" tall by 3.5" wide.This is part of a collection that was purchased out of Western Mass by a life long collector.
