Ancient Pre Columbian Tripod Base Bowl, c.800-1200AD Geometric Etching Design

This is a shallow bowl with a tripod base, from region of Panama / Costa Rica. It has a bowl on top of three short tripod legs. It is circa 800-1200 AD. It has staining to the surface and wear consistent with age & use. It has a very wide rim and geometric etching throughout. It is finished with a reddish paint.It measures about 3.5" tall by 6" wide.This is part of a collection that was purchased out of Western Mass by a life long collector.
