This beautiful pre-Columbian pottery olla is an amazing & unique piece of ancient pottery! It's from the Chiriqui region in Panama, circa 800-1200AD. It's part of the type of pottery that has been classified as "Armadillo wear" based on the composition. It has very unique figural handles - they are grotesque human-like figures. It has a rounded bottom and a slightly flared rim surrounding the opening.It measures about 6" wide by 5" tall. Its wear is consistent with age.Located in Canton
