Sew a Teddy Bear

Our create a bear class walks you through step by step from design to finished project. We will help you design, cut out your pattern, and stitch the fabric, insert the eyes, sewn on the mouth and nose, stuff and hand sewn your closure. (Participants are responsible for materials- or choose from our selection in studio for $20 more) Where: 5216 Bridle Path Lane, Lewiston, NY 14092  This class is great for beginners on up. We have sewing machines available, but recommend bringing your own sewing machine for continued practice.  This is a great option for those wanting to get through their fabric scrap stash, create a patchwork bear or use one fabric throughout. Fabrics that work best include: cotton, flannel, plush, fleece, terry cloth and minky.  Stuffed bears are a great way to preserve memories as well. Use your child's clothing, your favorite t-shirt collection or make a gift to pass onto someone who has recently lost a loved one. Known as "memory bears" you can create your own.  Ca
