The Oroboros Knit Scarf draws inspiration from the recurring theme of the crocodile in Carlos Luna’s artwork, representing the patient yet powerful forces of judgment and accountability. When depicted eating its own tail in a circular formation, the symbolism of the Oroboros—representing cycles and Western philosophies—is invoked. Embedded in the stomach of the crocodile is the symbol for Eleggua, the Yoruba deity who observes and reports human actions as we journey through life and death.
