Finca Muxbal is located on a plateau at 1,560 meters above sea level, at the foot of the Tacaná volcano on the border with Guatemala. The estate spans 236 hectares, of which 60% is planted with Catuai and Mundo Novo varieties. The remaining 40% is preserved as an ecological reserve that protects rainforest, rivers, springs, and native flora and fauna. The rich volcanic soil, responsible environmental practices, ample shade, and unique microclimate provide ideal conditions for producing exceptional coffee. Muxbal is committed not only to environmental sustainability but also to social responsibility. The farm's facilities include a kitchen, tortilladora, dining hall, and housing for all employees. During the high season, the farm also provides schooling for the children of the coffee community—ensuring that everyone is cared for and supported.
