Large Double Handle Fry Pan Covered - 14"
A classic with a twist. In the Ruffoni large double handle fry pan we replaced the traditional frying pan's long stick handle with two practical side handles, for a more convenient transition from stovetop to tabletop. We also added a beautifully decorated lid! The generous size allows you to cook for a crowd: ideal for serving one-pot dishes of chicken and vegetables, or a piping hot paella in style. Crafted in solid copper for superior heat conductivity, hand-hammered and tin-lined by hand over fire — so naturally low-stick. The riveted handles are cast in solid bronze, and the lid is crowned by Ruffoni's signature acorns and leaves. A timeless piece that will transition seamlessly from stovetop to tabletop, and can be proudly displayed to adorn any kitchen when not in use. Made in Italy. Ideas For Use Sear your meat, deglaze the pan, put on the lid to simmer over a low flame and then serve right at the table thanks to the convenient side handles. Our large double handle fry pan is ideal to prepare nourishing and delicious one-pot chicken dishes for the whole family, but also to impress friends with flavorful sautéed sides, creative paellas and elegant ratatouilles. Bring directly to the table to serve piping hot food to the crowd, then store it right on the stovetop to have this eye-candy piece always at hand. Use and Care Recommended for use on gas stovetops, open flames (wood, charcoal, barbecue) and in the oven - electric cooktops also possible. Never heat the pot empty and do not exceed 220 C (430 F). Bronze handles will get hot: always use potholders while cooking. Use wood or plastic tools to avoid scratching the tin lining. Hand-wash with a soft sponge and mild detergent, and dry immediately with a soft cloth. With use, copper develops a rich patina over time that many love and cherish. To restore a polished shine, use a good copper polish (like Ruffoni Cleaner) or salt with lemon juice/vinegar. Tin will naturally discolor over time, but will remain equally effective. Depending on use, the tin lining may eventually wear off and require retinning. Prolong the tin lining's life by not scratching it with metal tools, never overheating the cookware, and limiting the use of acidic ingredients. Details Diameter: 35cm
