The dangles are attached to the back of the earrings and can be removed with the clasp. The clasp is the same as you may encounter on necklaces or bracelets. The dangle hanging from this position gives it a very 3 dimensional look. Easily combined with much of your jewelry. Very versatile pair of earrings, a great one with which to start your collection. These are distinctly left and right earrings. Fits very similar to ear cuffs, with the difference that these drop down further along the earwell. Very comfortable to wear.
