Auris Lyre Tube Headphone Amplifier The Auris Lyre is a pure class-A desktop tube headphone amplifier designed without negative feedback to maximize dynamics, transparency, and soundstage. Its signal path centers on an ECC82 (12AU7) gain stage feeding CV-181 (6SN7) dual triodes for a natural, coherent presentation. The Lyre features hand-wound amorphous double C-core output transformers, a premium ALPS volume potentiometer, and a refined power supply support clean drive into a wide range of headphones. Connectivity includes balanced (XLR) and two unbalanced (RCA) inputs, plus both 4-pin XLR and 6.3 mm headphone outputs. A three-position output-impedance selector and large analog VU meter aid matching and monitoring, while the CNC-machined aluminum chassis with leather side panels provides durable, functional ergonomics.
