Berkeley Audio Design Alpha Reference DAC Series 3P With new proprietary RF waveguide isolation and special focus on time domain coherence. With MQA, HDCD decoding, multiple filter options, and a volume control Berkeley Audio improves on the DAC already considered to be a reference standard, at any price. The new Series 3P achieves a level of time domain coherence never available before in a DAC. The result is profound musical realism, since time-domain incoherence erases subtle spatial and timbral audio information essential to the experience of live music. Berkeley's perfected technology goes beyond sounding excellent to simply sounding real. The new proprietary RF waveguide isolation technology used in the reference series 3P produces unprecedented imaging precision, timbral purity and resolution. Berkeley DACs use a commercial delta-sigma convertor, but turn off all filtering and DSP functions except for the central conversion circuit. All digital filtration and process is done using custom code and components, carefully created for the best possible sound.
