The hat that started it all. The Ragg Wool Beanie is a heavyweight, double-layer cap weighing in at 6 ounces made specifically for us in Pennsylvania by a 120-year-old yarn mill.  These heavy-duty beanies are perfect for the coldest days and come in all the colors of our signature ragg wool gloves.  Content85% USA wool, 15% USA nylon. This wool is custom-made for us by our friends at Kraemer Yarns in Pennsylvania.  What is Ragg Wool? The definition of ragg wool is a yarn formed of two strands of dyed wool and one strand of undyed wool, often combined with other fibers, such as nylon.  The American-made nylon in this traditional workwear wool blend allows for shape retention and durability, plus additional softness. This high-quality and heavyweight yarn will wick away moisture to keep the head warm and dry during the coldest winter days. Some pilling is natural as the loose ends come together.
