Laphroaig 25 Year 2020 Release Scotch Whiskey 750ml

The 2020 release of the Laphroaig Cask Strength 25 year is here. This should be on everyones ‘must try’ whisky list. This uncommonly exquisite 25 year old liquid is a non-chill filtered marriage of sherried, oaky flavours from second fill European Oak Oloroso sherry casks with sweet vanilla notes from American white oak bourbon barrels, bottled at casks strength. Laphroiag 25 Year Old is one of the most unique of all malt whiskies. The exceptional character of this expression makes this a whisky truly worth savouring. TASTING NOTES COLOUR Pale Gold. NOSE Sweet vanilla and wood spice, smoke and TCP, though restrained, some smoked bacon, with underlying dried fruit added to the mix. BODY Rich round and full. FINISH Very long and layered, waves of rich smoke and a peppery conclusion. PALATE Very creamy and rich, with a full texture, peppery, spicy, iodine, saline and smokiness. There's also a little green apple fruit.
