The Glorious Newcomer Condition: Excellent Laulima Metal Craft is the brainchild of Mitch Lum and Josh from Dawson Machine Craft. As longtime and highly involved members of the EDC and flashlight communities, they have come together to design and bring to life a truly one-of-a-kind flashlight - the Malihini - which reflects their unique perspective and values. As explained by Mitch, Malihini is the Hawaiian word for a newcomer. While this is definitely not their first rodeo, the name is a way for them to highlight their immense respect and gratitude towards the esteemed group of custom light builders who lent a hand in the development of their first flashlight. Produced in achingly small numbers, this Malihini is especially rare as it is custom machined from titanium and aluminum for maximum lightweight performance.
