English Name: Virgate Wormwood Decoction Source: Discussion of Cold Damage (c. 220) Ingredients for 1 bulk herb vacuum sealed bag:  Yin Chen (Artemisiae scopariae Herba) 36g Zhi Zi (Gardeniae Fructus) 18g Da Huang (Rhei Radix et Rhizoma) * 12g Suggested dose: 1 bag over 2-4 days. The above dosage is doubled from the original source. * Da Huang is included in a separate bag, so that the practitioner can choose to either cook it the full time with the other herbs, or have the patient add it the last 5-10 minutes. Note: Yin Chen is traditionally pre-cooked before the other herbs.
