English Name: Prepared Licorice Decoction Source: Discussion of Cold Damage (c. 220) Ingredients for 1 bulk herb vacuum sealed bag:  Zhi Gan Cao (Glycyrrhizae Radix preparata) 24g Dang Shen (Codonopsis Radix) 24g Gui Zhi (Cinnamomi Ramulus) 18g Sheng Di Huang (Rehmanniae Radix) 48g Mai Men Dong (Ophiopogonis Radix) 18g E Jiao (Asini Corii Colla) [dissolve in strained decoction] 12g Huo Ma Ren (Cannabis Semen) [crushed] 18g Sheng Jiang (Zingiberis Rhizoma recens) * 18g Da Zao (Jujubae Fructus) * 10 to 20 pieces * Sheng Jiang is not included and should be added by the practitioner or patient before cooking.
