Twice Baked Almond Croissant

Classic Almond Croissant with a twist! Traditional almond croissants are baked with almond frangipane—a traditional french almond flour-butter based paste. Moxy’s spin is the addition of local dried Spiceberry from Carriage House Farms. Spiceberry has the flavor profile of cumin, clove, lemon–while retaining a unique sweetness to them. In order to be consumed they must be dehydrated and dried out—harvested they are bright red small berry, after dehydration they are a dark chocolatey brown color.
