Spalted Maple Round Table Top

UH# 6080Dimensions: 42″L x 40″W This multi-piece spalted maple round table top is a testament to the quality colors and character inherent in our western maple trees. This tree was infected with a disease that resulted in the multi-color spalting character seen throughout this top. Two hand inserted bowties are adorned to a larger check in the tabletop complimenting the subtle live edge on each side. This round modern aesthetic invites a hint of the organic beginnings of this tree and serves as the perfect piece for a small coffee table or even a small kitchen nook table.   This tree was salvaged from the greater Seattle area after a fungal infection caused the tree to die making it no longer able to support itself.
