The CH44 lounge chair is one of the results of these efforts.Honest design and refined comfortThe CH44 lounge chair from 1965 by Hans J. Wegner is simplicity perfected. The chair features both Wegner's characteristic, defined joints between the front legs and armrests as well as grooves on the top of the rear legs from which to hang a back cushion. The armrests slope upwards towards the rear legs, becoming more slender as they rise, thus elegantly strengthening the vertical joint.
