Based on a historic work by the brand Isidore Leroy, Vallée des Peintres is a meticulous restoration of an archive created in 1930.In partnership with the Bibliothèque Forney in Paris, which has carefully preserved it, we have adapted and enriched this iconic design, originally created in tempera with 18 colors, as part of this project.This new promenade captures the original connection of the landscape extending along the water's edge in a soft and mysterious atmosphere.Francesco Battista, a fine artist, created this panoramic fresco while respecting the flat color technique of the original wallpaper. It’s a true demonstration of craftsmanship that incorporates a richness of textures made possible by contemporary reproduction techniques.The name, Vallée des Peintres, is borrowed from this iconic region between Berry and Limousin, which inspired many landscape painters in the 19th century.This project is part of an ambitious approach to research and restoration, aiming to rediscover, t
