Full disclosure... as you all know we're straight shooters here at USA Iron: the eager eyed will have spotted a generous rounding up to 50lb in the title: these are 48.5 lb / 22kg Adjustable Dumbbells, not 50 lb dumbbells 😱. Why are they 48.5lb? We make them 48.5 lb so when we put each dumbbell into it's own box (yes 2 boxes per shipment!) you add the weight of the packaging, each box weighs less than than 50lb and we can ship them out cheaper to you, which we pass onto you and saves you about $60 which we'd have to add to the price (as we have to pay a surcharge for UPS/FedEx having to lift a box over 50lb).
