[custom_html] The 3200 Bissell drive belt can be checked or replaced by first unplugging the vacuum from the outlet. Remove the detachable canister and then recline the handle and turn the vacuum cleaner over so bottom side is up. There will be 6 screws that will need to be removed with a Philips head screwdriver and then lift the cover off. It's important to take both ends of the rotating floor brush and lift. You now can remove the old belt and replace it with a new one. Once you place the rotating floor brush back into the vacuum, turn it by hand several times and if the belt and bar is properly installed, the belt will center itself on the rotating brush. Check your belt often for wear.  You want to replace the belt at first sign of damage. The drive belt is an important component of your vacuum cleaner and will effect performance.
