Abbey Bit Full Cheek Snaffle

The Full Cheek features long arms intended to give directional support and to keep the bit central in the mouth. Bit keepers should be used to prevent the long arms from becoming caught and to minimise movement in the mouth. The single-jointed mouthpiece allows independent use of each cannon but can form a ‘V’ shape when contact is taken by both reins, creating pressure on the palate.
