Rita is a devoted wife, mother, stepmother, and grandmother who selflessly goes out of her way to help others at a moment’s notice. We have a big family, which can be overwhelming, but Rita happily makes sure we are all well fed and taken care of. She is the stepmother of Brittany and mother-in-law of Taylor. After diagnosis in late April, she quickly began treatment in May 2025 in Sioux Falls. She recently traveled to meet specialists at the renowned MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston. Her treatment plan includes ongoing chemotherapy and immunotherapy every three weeks, three hours from home, with regular travel to Houston for scans and follow ups. As Rita continues this difficult journey, the financia
