The VTC-1609 is sized for medium to small handguns. Constructed from ultra-strong, fiber reinforced polymer, the exterior easily resists impacts and crushing forces. A continuous o-ring seal secured with 2 latches and a manual pressure valve provide total protection from dust intrusion and is waterproof up to 3 feet deep. Two exterior locking locations for use with customer supplied lock(s). The VTC-1609's inner lid is lined with convoluted foam, while the case bottom features a removable 2.25" thick pre-cubed foam layer which can be user customized to accommodate numerous configurations. In addition to the pre-cubed layer, this case also includes a 0.5" thick removable non-cubed layer.
