VpCI®-648 BD is also used for corrosion protection during hydrostatic testing. The product combines contact and volatile corrosion inhibitors to protect hard to reach areas. It contains and organic dispersing agent and an acrylic polymer to prevent scale formation. VpCI®-649 BD is free of nitrite, phosphate or chromate.
