NYC Garment District Shopping Trip • January 22nd

THURSDAY, JANUARY 22nd This tour will wind through the tightly knit streets of the Garment District, where I once worked and continue to shop for everything fashion-related! This trip is limited to 6 people. TIMELINE: We will arrive at Port Authority (42nd & 9th) at about 10 a.m., and the tour starts just a few blocks away. We will make our way up and down the streets; it will be fast-paced, and everyone will have a chance to see the stores for 5 to 10 minutes, look around, ask me questions, and take notes. This way, you can decide which shops you would like to visit on your own for more in-depth shopping later in the day. You will receive a list of all the stores, their addresses, and the types of fabrics and trims they specialize in, about 15 to 20 overall. Around 1 p.m., we will eat lunch (see details below). After lunch, you will have about 3 hours to spend solo, visiting your choice of stores. We will have a quick lunch at Pret-A-Manger on 39th & 7th Avenue (about $20).
