Sewing Apparel Saturdays

SATURDAYS 10AM - 12:30PM SEPTEMBER 13TH - OCTOBER 18TH WHAT IS IT? This is a garment sewing class where we will work with commercial patterns. You will learn how to read patterns, make a muslin (sample garment) and fit it to your body, adjust the pattern, and sew your finished project. The class is limited to four people, and each student will work on a different project at their own pace. The major benefit is that you will learn to sew apparel while tailoring the course to your needs. Many students hesitate to advance their skills because they fear working with challenging fabrics. In this course, you may choose fabrics as simple or as difficult as you like. I will teach you how to handle them properly, set up the sewing machine for your fabric, and of course, share pressing skills and tips.
