Leppi
Leppi is a visual love letter to lineage. Designed by Guinean artist Lulah Balde, this print draws from the rhythmic patterns she grew up admiring in her mother’s closet – the ones she studied every time she managed to sneak a peek. It also carries the quiet strength of her father’s memories of his grandmother, an indigo dyer whose craft shaped the family’s creative roots. Bold, textural, and deeply nostalgic, Leppi reconnects Lulah to the heart of her Guinean heritage. Printed on our signature modal fabric, the lightweight weave drapes effortlessly – a cultural story reimagined as a modern, wearable form with waves of blues and greys. A portion of proceeds from each hijab will be donated to Lulah’s charity choice - GAEDGN - to support Guinean youth communities in education.
