Antique Venetian African Trade Semi-transparent "White Skunk" Beads, group of 10 (0467)

On offer is a short strand of 10 Antique Venetian trade white heart beads dating to the 1800s. These beads are frequently referred to as "white skink" beads.  The beads are old and have changed many hands, having traveled three continents between the 19th and 21st centuries. There are many imperfections consistent with their age and history. The color is worn out on some beads, there are age-appropriate nicks and chips. Please examine the photos carefully to see the state of the beads. Most of the beads 10-11mm. The hole size is about 1.5mm.  In one of the photos, you can see two strands - one "whiter" than the.  The whiter beads are those cleaned in the ultrasound cleaner.  The yellowish beads are as they arrived from the dealer.  If you have a preference, please indicate it in a note in your order.  You will otherwise receive a rando strand.
