Antique 1800s European Portrait Of A Woman Oil Painting Framed- 17x19” Really lovely, antique 19th century portrait of an older woman in mourning in all black dress. Very beautiful facial features and very well done. Deep a rich, dark background. She’s wearing a beautiful red stone pendant brooch on her collar and when you look closely you can see the buttons down the bodice of the dress. Signed “H. Forster”. Has a hole on the upper right side, has been filled in with a dark colored pigment. Still presents really well if you don’t mind a little patina. Measures: Artwork: 12.5 x 15.5” Frame: 16.75 x 19.25”
