Simon Johnston, 2019letterpress printedition of 20 Poem/list comprised of a selection of village names from the county of Somerset in England. The criteria were that each name had to be two words and contain poetic strangeness. Part of the ongoing ‘First Team’ series, each consisting of a curated list of eleven terms drawn from various linguistic categories. The series is typeset using the deadpan charms of 40 pt. lower case Helvetica Medium. printed at Archetype Press, Pasadenatitled and signed on reversedimensions: 10.5 x 13.5 in.
