Mourning in America #2Simon Johnston, 2017edition of 20 monoprints Made on the day of the U.S. presidential inauguration, this edition appropriates the front pages of newspapers from January 20, 2017. However, apart from the masthead and date, their contents have been overprinted in black printer’s ink. Two versions were made, using the New York Times (v.23) and the Los Angeles Times (v.24).
