GEA (Grain Extract Agar) petri plates are poured in our mycology lab under laminar flow to ensure an absolutely sterile environment and come with a 100% guarantee.Our 90mm x 15mm grain extract and proprietary formulation provide all nutrients necessary for optimum growth.The activated charcoal provides a great surface for observation and is not only perfect for the aspiring home grower, but they also make perfect science projects to teach kids about yeasts and molds. Each plate comes individually wrapped in parafilm to prevent contamination during transport. Each sleeve of (10) pre-poured plates contains extra parafilm for resealing after inoculation.
