Magnolia x soulangiana 'Black Tulip'

This is the darkest, most dramatic tulip magnolia of any on the market, with rich, deep burgundy-red six-inch-wide blooms that appear before the foliage emerges in early spring. The small, slender, multi-branched form is outstanding for use as an elegant specimen tree, en masse to form a hedge, or as a container plant. Deciduous. Moderate growing; reaches 15 to 20 ft. tall, 6 to 10 ft. wide.
