Dwarf Chinese Elm Everything about Ulmus parvifolia ‘Hokkaido’ is tiny: tiny leaves cover tiny twigs and create a full size plant of tiny dimensions. Naturally congested growth and a stocky trunk give this small tree the appearance of age, a quality valued in miniature landscapes, railroad gardens and bonsai.
