Vanda roeblingiana

Vanda roeblingiana is a striking orchid species native to the mountain provinces of Luzon in the Philippines, known for its fragrant, long-lasting flowers and tolerance for cooler conditions. It’s a rare gem among Vanda orchids and highly sought after by collectors. The inflorescence can be up to 30 cm long, bearing 8–15 flowers with dark red or red-spotted blooms with a large, bifurcated, fringed lip.  Light: Bright, indirect light (2,500–3,500 footcandles). Temperature: Intermediate to cool (45°F to 98°F), favoring warm conditions. Humidity: High humidity with good air circulation. Watering: 3–5 times per week; allow roots to dry slightly between waterings. Mounting: Often grown mounted on sticks or in baskets to accommodate aerial roots.
