Woolgrass Grass Seeds (Scirpus cyperinus)

Woolgrass - Scirpus cyperinus - This species provides food and cover for waterfowl. It likes moist meadows, marshes, swamps, shores and ditches. It is a bunch-type species growing up to 5' tall with minimum root depth. It has a moderate shade tolerance and blooms from August - September. An attractive grass with interesting visual aspect. Averages approx. up to 60 inches in height Light Requirement: Sun to Partial Shade, Shade (Moderate tolerance) Seeding Rate: Usually mixed with other species - if doing so use 1-5% of this species in the mix.
