The Green Dragon Inn Sign The Green Dragon Inn Sign is a must-have for any fan of J.R.R. Tolkien's The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings. This laser-cut sign is a replica of the iconic sign that hung outside the Green Dragon Inn in Bywater, near Hobbiton.  The Green Dragon Inn was a popular meeting place for travelers and locals alike, and it was where Thorin and Company waited for Bilbo to join them on their quest to the Lonely Mountain. This sign is a perfect addition to any home, office, or man cave and will bring a touch of Middle-earth charm and nostalgia. My version of the Green Dragon Inn sign has four layers and is sized at just under 17"x12" in both the single sided and double sided versions.  The hidden base layer of 1/8" MDF provides extra rigidity and prevents warping.  The layer under the Green Dragon is 1/4" thick Cherry which, when exposed to sunlight for a time will darken to a wonderful patina.  The outline of the sign, the green dragon outline and facial detail and the
