Antique Edwardian Gold Signet Ring
I know class rings are a thing, and I’m in no way opposed, but when the young men in my family graduate from college, I give them a ring just like this one. There is something about a ring like this one that makes young men look, well, manly. Do you know an upcoming graduate? Send him out into the world right, with a bespoke suit, a pair of well made wingtips and a ring like this. This wonderful Edwardian version of the signet ring was hand crafted in Birmingham, England in 1915. The top is a shield shape of smooth gold and the shoulders are hand carved with a fabulous flourish. The ring measures 13.7 mm north to south and 20 mm across, the ring sits 1.6 mm off the finger and narrows to 4.5 mm at the back of the band. This ring has full hallmarks which tell us that it was made in Birmingham in 1915 of 9 karat gold, the makers mark is ‘TL’. This size 10.75 ring weighs 6.2 grams.I offer a 3-5 payment layaway on most items purchased for full retail price, please inquire if you are interest
