Antique French Garnet Cross Pendant 18k Gold

It is handcrafted in 18 karat gold with silver settings that hold 6 round faceted garnet of a deep plummy color. The stones measure 6.3 mm across and about 3.4 mm deep, overall they are in excellent condition, but one of them has a very small chip (the one on the right side) that can be seen with a 10x jewelers loupe. This cross is on the larger side at 60 mm north to south (including the bale) and 40 mm across, it’s 5.6 mm thick. The cross is marked on the top bale with French makers marks and hallmarks, it’s been acid tested as 18 karat gold to the reverse, the stones are set in silver. The cross weighs 7.8 grams.
