Antique Sapphire Pearl Diamond Bypass Ring

Like a star shooting past the glowing moon, this simple yet stunning bypass ring is something beautiful to behold. This fantastic ring was hand crafted in England around 1900-1910 in 18 karat gold. The ring is set with 6 old European cut diamonds and 2 rose cut diamonds as well as a 3.5 mm pearl and a bright blue sapphire which measures 3x3x1.5 mm and weighs .1 carat. This ring measures 12 mm north to south and 9.3 mm across the face, it sits 5 mm of the finger and narrows to 1.5 mm at the back of the band. It is a size 5.25 and weighs 2.1 grams. This ring has only a bit of legible hallmark and it’s the lower case ‘r’ which without and origin I can’t use to date it, I’ve acid tested it as 18 karat gold. This ring is that rare combination of star quality and everyday charm.
