Antique Silver Arts and Crafts Enamel Pendant c.1900

This sublime enamel pendant was made in England during the Arts and Crafts movement right around the turn of the century, c.1900. It's hand hammered, blue-green enamel double drop motif bears all of the typical organic influence of the period, suspended gracefully from a hand wrought double chain hanger. In excellent condition, this wonderful pendant weighs 6.0 grams, measures 2 and 1/4 inches by 1 and 1/8 inches and though unmarked, tests as sterling silver. This sublime pendant would make a perfect gift or a very special treat for anyone who loves Arts and Crafts design and craftsmanship, enamel jewelry or just one of a kind antique works of wearable art!
