Edwardian Large Double Snake Ring Men's Diamond
This spectacular Edwardian double headed snake ring was made in London, England in 1908. A staple in Victorian and Edwardian romantic themed jewelry, this intertwining snake motif had come to represent the eternal and intertwining love of the giver and the wearer. This fine, and very substantial example features two fabulous old European cut diamonds set into the heads of the snakes. The ring has a full set of English hallmarks which include a maker's mark (JG), the Leopard's head for London, an 18k gold mark and the letter date for 1908. It weighs a hefty 8.8 grams, measures 9mm across the top, and is currently a US size 12! It could easily be sized up or down several sizes however, though care should be taken to preserve the wonderful set of hallmarks.I offer a 3-5 payment layaway on most items purchased for full retail price, please inquire if you are interested in setting up a layaway.
