A wonderful and crisp example of a Love Knot ring. This beauty was made in Edwardian England in 1903. It is so sweet and sentimental, the love knot form and the heart motifs, the forget-me-not flower at the center and the ivy leaves climbing the sides; the are the symbols of love everlasting.This wonderful, hand crafted ring was made in the manufacturing center of Chester of buttery 9 karat gold. It measures 9.2 mm north to south and 21 mm across at the face, sits 2.5 mm off the finger and narrows to 5.7 mm at the back of the band. The ring is fully hallmarked, it was made in Chester, England in 1903 and is marked both ‘9’ and ‘375’ for the gold content.
