Edwardian Sapphire Diamond Ring Gypsy Set 18k Gold
Blue is rare in nature. Less than ten percent of people have blue eyes. Blue birds aren’t actually blue (it’s true, look it up!), and blue flowers are amongst the rarest in natures garden. No wonder then, that we gravitate to the sapphire, the truest of blue gems. This wonderful sapphire and diamond Edwardian ring is set with sapphires of the most marvelous blue. There are three central cushion cut sapphires, the center measure 3x1.6 mm and the other two are about 2.4x1.7 mm. There are four sparkling rose cut diamonds, two between each of the sapphires, these add the perfect punch of sparkle to this mellow blue and gold ring. The ring is 7 mm north to south and 16 mm across, it’s 2.3 mm thick and narrows to 3.4 mm at the back of the band. This English ring is fully hallmarked with the marks showing that it was made in Birmingham in 1903 of 18 karat gold. I just love the low settings of this smooth gypsy set ring, it weighs 4.3 grams and is a size 6.I offer free layaway on most items pur
