The depth and intensity of this cabochon cut stone is simply incredible, and it was surely the prized possession of the lucky Scott who had it mounted as the center of this classic cairngorm and agate brooch.This wonderful and weighty brooch was hand crafted in Britain in about 1865. It tests as sterling silver and weighs 36 grams. This piece measures 47.7 mm north to south and across and is 16.6 mm deep.
