Mexico Mazateca

Oaxaca - the land of great coffee, great waves, and great Mezcal! We welcome back a stellar coffee from Oaxaca Mexico’s northern mountainous region, known as the Sierra Mazateca. Another community sourced lot, this was produced by 9 different farms in the region, and processed using the traditional Washed method. The results in the cup are a subtly complex coffee that expands its palate offerings as it cools: an unassuming graham cracker dried aroma gives way to deeper sensations of milk chocolate and sweet crisp apples with a mid-tone of nougat, the spice intrigue of anise and vanilla, and a balanced and creamy body finishing with a silky mouthfeel.
