Rwanda Ibisi #84 - Washed Red Bourbon - Wholesale

We Taste - Tropical, raspberry, dark chocolate Ten years ago, Bernard Uwitije recognized the potential for excellence in the people and land around Ibisi bya Huye Mountain in southern Rwanda. Ibisi Mountains Coffee Washing Station was built in 2017 and currently produces on behalf of 2,000+ smallholder farmers who harvest ripe Red Bourbon cherries during the rainy months of March - May. A classic Arabica variety, Red Bourbon showcases superlative sweetness and balance in structure, while yielding a crisp acidity and harmonious fermentation from being water soaked during a fully washed process. We're pleased to roast Lot #84 of this season's harvest on the lighter side, highlighting an electric extraction, full of tropical, red berry, and stone fruit.
