THE STUD DETECTOR by Carl Dreher: This is the Stud Detector to end all Stud Detectors! The performer displays a real stud detector and shows how it can pass over a wall to find studs behind the sheet-rock. As it detects a stud , the the lights begin to blink and the unit begins to beep. It gets louder as it detects the stud and then fades as it passes the stud. Then a thought occurs to the performer, "I wonder if this could be used in a game of Stud Poker". The performer then lays 3 cards face down on the table and hands the Stud Detector to a member of the audience. "Pass the detector over the cards and lets see what happens." As the spectator passes over the three cards, the detector begins to flash and beep over one card. The cards are turned over and the card that activated the detector turns out to be an Ace! "Le
