Used Vinyl is Very Good Plus with only a few tiny marks / Artwork is Good minus with bottom top and spine seamsplits and tears from sticker residue. / Compilation of recordings from 1954 and 1956 sessions / 4th compilation Pressing from Imperial Records 1962 the first was released in 1956 / Quite a bit of duplication between this 18-song collection and Night Train's previous disc -- but since this one contains both of his hits -- "Old Time Shuffle" and "Chica Boo" -- it wins hands down. Pullum and Thomas are back as guest vocalists on these 1947-1952 waxings. This is lightly swinging West Coast blues with an elegant, understated edge, Glenn's tasty approach to the 88 key uprights always in the pocket.
